SCOPE

Socio-oceanography is an emerging area of research which takes a “whole system” approach to the marine environment by explicitly factoring in human society. The 2026 Workshop will focus on three highlighted topics, aiming to bring together a diverse group of natural, social and interdisciplinary scientists and designers. Each group will work towards producing outputs such as opinion papers, funding proposals, and innovative multidisciplinary forms of communication.
