BIO-Carbon 2025 Annual Meeting
Wednesday 2nd - Thursday 3rd April 2025
National Oceanography Centre, European Way, Southampton SO14 3ZH & online
The Annual Meeting is open to anyone. It will include updates on ongoing projects, Early Career Ocean Professional (ECOP) focused sessions, policy and communications discussions, and lightning talks. There will also be discussions to guide and refine the BIO-Carbon programme ahead of a final synthesis and modelling stage. More details on the programme and projects can be found here.
In person participant places are limited to 40, with priority given to members of BIO-Carbon projects and the UK science community
The meeting will run from 9am on the Wednesday until ~5pm on Thursday with a workshop dinner on the Wednesday at Padharo, Vegetarian and Vegan Indian Restaurant.
There will be an ECOP social event on the preceding Tuesday evening. ECOPs who are not already part of the BIO-Carbon ECOP network can sign up to receive updates from the network here.
Prior to the Annual Meeting, for those involved in the Stage 1b projects only, there will be a Data Workshop held on 31 Mar - 1 Apr. This meeting will run from lunchtime on Monday until ~5pm on Tuesday.
