13th Annual Meeting 3rd – 4th June 2024

Virtual Meeting 

 

Professor Mark Inall and the membership of the NOCA Steering Board look forward to joining colleagues from member institutes of the NOC Association of Marine Science National Capability Beneficiaries (NOCA), the Marine Alliance Science for Science and Technology for Scotland (MASTS), the Challenger Society and the Global Environmental Research Committee (GERC) at the 2024 AGM of the NOCA. You don’t have to be a member of these groups to participate – anyone with an interest in the marine environment is welcome.

Timings for this free, on-line event, to be conducted by Zoom, are:   

Monday 3rd June 2024:  10:30 – 12:30

Tuesday 4th June 2024: 10:00 – 12:30

Items planned for the agenda, (to follow), will include updates from the Future of Marine Research Infrastructure (FMRI) initiative with discussion around potential gaps in the technology landscape. There will also be sessions about COAST (Coastal Ocean Applied Systems Thinking) and new stakeholder groups proposed for the British Oceanographic Data Centre and the NERC Environmental Data Service.
