The 61st British Sedimentological Research Group Annual General Meeting

The 61st British Sedimentological Research Group Annual General Meeting

6 - 8 December 2022

 National Oceanography Centre - Southampton

We look forward to welcoming you to Southampton!

The 61st British Sedimentological Research Group (BSRG) Annual General Meeting will be hosted by the National Oceanography Centre, in collaboration with University of Southampton, at our waterfront campus in Southampton from 6th to 8th December 2022. It is more than 12 years since a BSRG AGM was last held at the NOC and we are excited to host the first in-person AGM for BSRG since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The AGM will be offered as a hybrid event, to enable virtual attendance for those who cannot join in person and to provide a back-up in case of any restrictions.

The AGM is the most important event in the BSRG calendar and is the focus for much of BSRG's activities providing a chance to meet other researchers, your peers and industry contacts. The talk and poster sessions provide an excellent opportunity to share your research with a sympathetic audience and catch up on all aspects of sedimentological research. The AGM has long provided a platform for postgraduates to share initial findings and get feedback at an early stage and we particularly welcome contributions from early career researchers and practitioners. The BSRG AGM Code of Conduct can be viewed here.
